By car

From M25, Junction 18: follow the A404 and A412 sign-posted Watford for 4.5 miles then bear left onto Hagden Lane and take third exit at mini-roundabout going onto Tolpits Lane. Chessbrook is 50 metres on the right.

From M25, Junction 19: take fourth exit onto Hempstead Road A411 sign-posted town centre then take exit at roundabout sign-posted Rickmansworth Road A412. Bear right onto Hagden Lane and take third exit at mini-roundabout onto Tolpits lane. Chessbrook is 50 metres on the right.

From M1, Junction 5: take exit sign-posted Watford Town Centre A4008.Continue until taking second exit at roundabout onto ring road. Follow until bearing left onto Vicarage road. Continue onto Hagden Lane, until taking exit at mini-roundabout onto Tolpits Lane. Chessbrook is 50 metres on the right.

By rail

The train station is Watford Junction. Just outside the station, take a number 10 bus towards Hollywell Estate. Get off at the first bus stop in Tolpits Lane. 

By tube

Watford Station, Metropolitan Line. 15 minutes' walk. Turn right onto Metropolitan Station Approach. Cross over at lights onto Hagden Lane, and continue until bearing right onto Tolpits Lane. Chessbrook is 50 metres on the right.

By cycle

Chessbrook has a bike shelter. Cyclists are responsible for the security of their own bike. Please remember to use lights and wear a helmet.
