PSHE & RSE
PSHE offers a programme of study that reinforces British values, morals and life skills. We teach our students the benefits of active physical activity and positive mental health well being. Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) lessons are taught alongside PSHE, focusing on safe relationships and how to remain safe in wider society.
We discuss the importance of positive relationships and explain the changes brought on by puberty. Students learn about different groups in the community to gain a mutual respect and understanding of their fellow citizens. Students engage in discussions and curiosity is welcomed in order for them to have a better understanding of differences in our country. Our curriculum is sequenced to mirror the integration of our students into a diverse and multicultural British society.
