Physical Education
Chessbrook is a high achieving Physical Education department that is proud of its many successes to-date.
Our departmental ethos is based upon ‘Sport for Life’ principle, challenging all to set and work towards realistic goals and thereby achieve their true potential. An extensive extra-curricular programme that includes participatory and competitive elements enhances the core curriculum.
All pupils are taught a broad and balanced physical education programme that includes individual, team games and gymnastic activities that are delivered by specialist staff.
