* Black trousers for boys

Jewellery
* 1 pair of studs ONLY
* No facial piercing
* No rings
* No bracelets
* You are allowed to wear a watch.
Trainers or jeans are unacceptable at Chessbrook
Behaviour
Chessbrook ESC operates a Positive Behaviour Policy, which gives every student the maximum opportunity to alter their behaviour during lessons and break times.
Merits
Merits are awarded to students for the following good behaviour and can be exchanged for vouchers.
- Punctuality
- Attendance
- Positive Behaviour
- Effort in lessons
- Attainment
Sanctions
| Level A | This is a verbal warning given to the student regarding his/her unacceptable behaviour, with the opportunity to change the behaviour. |
| Level B | The student is removed to a separate part of the classroom to continue working. |
| Level C | The student is removed from the lesson and placed in ‘Supervision’ with another member of staff. |
| Level D | The student will be sent home once parents are contacted. Parents must ensure that Chessbrook ESC holds valid phone numbers for this purpose.* This may result in a formal exclusion, fixed term or permanent. |
